What would be the best memory to pair up with this board? I would prefer 2
Gb but if I'm going to take more than a 3% performance hit I will reduce to 1Gb. I have found these two chip sets OCZ dual channel 2x1024 DDR PC 3200 CAS 3 W/ Copper heat speaders 3-3-3-7and Kingston KVR400X64C3AK2/2g which is 2Gb of 3-3-3 but I don't know if they will run at 1T or do you suggest another alternative. This set up is not cheap so I will spend a little extra is it makes sence.

Number 1 I'm looking for a stable relatively glich free Nforce 4 motherboard. Nforce 4 because I think that it is the best chip set out there for 939 socket.

Number 2 I'm looking for dual channel 1024 Mb memory modules giving me 2Gb of memory.

Let me flesh out this new system
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum or other board maybe DFI Landparty UT NF4 ULTRA-D
OCZ dual channel 2x1024 DDR PC 3200 CAS 3 W/ Copper heat speaders 3-3-3-7
Artic Cooling Freezer 64
Anetec P160 Aluminum Case
OCZ Powerstream 520 Watt Power Supply
NEC ND-3205A Dual Layer DVD writer
Connect 3D Radeon X850 XT Platinum edition 256Mb DVI VIVO
Western Digital SE 200Gb SATA 7200 rpm 8 Mb cache
MS XP Professional

I'm not against overclocking but I won't sacrafice stability or reasonable heat and noise.

Thank you for your assistance.

GB (2 pcs 1GB) DDR (400) PC-3200 Patriot (PDC2G3200LLK)

I am thinking about getting these my self.

Specifications

Dual Channel
2GB PC3200 Low Latency Memory Kit
100% Tested at 400MHZ
Low Latency Setting (2-3-2-5) for System Performance
Aluminum Heat Spreader to Reduce Thermal Build-Up

Retail Pack

As for motherboard I am leaning to the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum also. I was thinking about DFI but it seems it has lots of problems to work out. I am also waiting to see when the ASUS Non Nforce4 board comes out.

gate1975mlm I think that I have now decided to go with the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum. In regards to the memory, my builder has all the major brands but not Patriot. There seems to be few people running 2Gb 2x1024 memory although some games and more in the future will benifit from them. Also no one seems to be able to tell me if the MSI motherboard will be able to run the OCZ or Kingston in 1T. The Kingston is certified to work with this board which is a help but if there is too big a performance hit I will use 1Gb of memory instead.

Good luck with your build.
