I have a K8N Neo4, A64 3200+ 939pin 90nm CPU and PQI Turbo PC4000 memory. Started by going for the gusto at 260 Mhz FSB, 4X HTT and various voltages. Prime95 always failed. Lowered to 250 Mhz FSB, 4x HTT and 8x multiplier at stock voltages that way CPU & Memory are at rated speeds. Still crashes in Prime95. I'm using stock HSF but I don't see a problem with that since the most I've seen the temp rise is to 50c. Any Suggestions?

raise up the FSB slowely, not all at once. That way you know when you need to increase voltages and aren't just guessing at what they should be. If you still want to try a 250FSB, try a HTT of 3x.

i had problems with those modules on my VNF4/Ultra, i think it was just a bios issue, though. Try updating your bios, if there is an update yet.

like i mentioned to some1 else. prime95 isnt the golden test that is perfect.

it has problems with some amds64 boxes. IF you can run windows perfect, game, etc. then your stable. just cause prime95 freaks out doesnt mean you arent stable.

The test isn't perfect, no, because a passing result doesn't mean that you are 100% stable.

Actually, it does. If Prime95 does error, then that is proof that you aren't 100% stable. But it cannot prove the converse.

Lowered everything to the default speed of 200 Mhz FSB, 10x multiplier on CPU and ran Prime95 without a hitch for 3+ hours. I'm betting on the memory being the culprit. Looking at getting Corsair Twinmos XMS3200C25 instead. Cheaper than OCZ EL Gold rev 2.

well there is nothing that is 100% that exists in the universe.. so throw out the whole 100% theory.

I have the OCZ EL Gold and so far I am running 2-2-3-8 1T at 230 Mhz. I am very happy with them. I have no pushed their limits yet
