MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum Discontinued?

Does anyone know if the Msi k8n Neo2 Plat has been discontinued? It's out of stock at newegg, zzf, mwave, monarch, etc.

Pricewatch says it's in stock at pcdirect.com, but their website says that they are system pulls, not new retail boxes.

I'm looking for the Platinum version because I want to use the modded bioses. Unless the neo2-f version can uses those modded bioses too?

I believe MSI is coming out with a new part to replace it, check their website.
 
I have the Neo-2 F and it should be able to use the modded bios. (It posts with the Platinum splash screen even). What would be the best modded bios out there for these boards?
 
I ran a MD5 checksum on the official bioses of the Neo2-f and the Neo2 Platinum.
Both are identical.

When I get my parts on wednesday, I'll let everyone know.

I have the Neo2-F and it runs all the modded bios out there, got mine on Ewiz, if you are looking for 1.

I'm also using the same BIOS and have had no problems...and in fact gained some really nice features.

PcDirect has a system pull K8N Neo2 Platinum...does anyone have any experience on that? It was said it came with Compaq Boot up screen on it, can it be flashed with regular BIOS and be just like regular Platinum like the rest of you?

newegg's got refurbished neo2's going for $50 shipped, i know refurb's not everyone's cup of tea but the price is great ... i couldn't resist, hopefully it'll work good, now all i need is a juicy opteron ...
