OMG, Newegg has the 939 3500 in stock for $419 everyone is a price gauging prick and I mean everyone. At least Monarch lets you preorder and what you pay then is what you pay. I got mine on preorder with Monarch for $365 shipped. I will wait the extra or more rather than wasted $60+ after shipping. Newegg you have to show more customer loyalty. I had them on autonotify and it was $362. Bastards!

Ah what should I do...I have a 6800GT sitting here..i want a 3500..but not for 419..agh! and the mother board thing..UGH!

Well, I said I'd update. The update is... there's no update. =/ I've been wearing my purchasing department out all day on asking about the MSI boards. All indications are still pointing to shipping early next week, but I haven't heard anything to make me able to guarantee it. (In fact, until I get my hands on the boards, I won't guarantee. heh) The one thing I hate about pre-orders on my end is the uncertainty. We ordered 400 boards, and had 200 confirmed in-route. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival, and trust me, I'll be in the warehouse counting them!

Please hang in there, I'm working for you, and again, if you have any questions, please ask away.

PS: Unconfirmed, but we're pounding at our vendors and AMD on the 3500+ processors... As soon as I get the greenlight on the date, I'll give the heads up. I always try to be conservative, but I'm thinking its going to be a bit sooner than the website's eta.

Woot, I preordered my 3500 939 just in time from monarchcomputers they just raised the price to $390 I got if for $365 shipped when it come in... I think I just got in on the last of the lower prices on that cpu for another month or more. At least I can say that. I suggest the rest of you if your waiting bite the bullet and buy now either preorder or whoever got it in stock for the lowest price. I think your going to be waiting months for $365 or less again.

I bit the bullet and ordered the 3500 from zipzoom yesterday for $380.00. It's not the best price but it beats having to shell out the cash for the 3800. Now if I could only get my hands on the K8N Neo 2 platinum my system would be complete!

Say Joe,

Do you know where i can find heatsink and ram compatibility for the mobo?

MSI hasn't returned my emails. I want to use a Zalman, but the dimm sockets look too close to the cpu.

***Nevermind- I found out it will work***

I wish Monarch would ship to the UK if its true that they are getting them in next week.

Im very worried that these boards wont make it into the UK market for weeks!!

Did the first 200 still not get there today?

I haven't gotten an e-mail with a tracking # yet. The guy I talked with on the phone today said it's waiting on BOTH the CPU and board - ugh, when my board finally gets in there is going to be no CPUs available to ship with it.

I haven't checked my email for a few hours, but I doubt the initial shipment (of 200) arrived today. I spoke to a lady this this about 10:30 AM (PST) and she said that the boards had not arrived yet.

She confirmed that Monarch did receive confirmation last week from MSI (Monarch deals direct w/MSI) that 200 boards were in rounte to Monarch. The lady also stated that Monarch's Sales Manager was emailing people on the waiting list. As all the orders are different, the SM needs to send out individual emails.

Now, as the 200 boards that were en route last week are most likely all sold (I'm number 188!) and because composing and sending out 200+ emails takes a long time) I don't expect to receive my email update from the SM until at least tomorrow.

The good news is that I was also told that Monarch has "mamy more" on order. I believe that the number was around 400. Hopefully these will come in within the next month.

Last week I saw verbiage on the MSI web site taht Zoomfly and a couple of other vendors are supposed to have the K8N Neo2 "by August 18th". I don't know what Zoomfly is asking for the boards now - and some of you already know that Zoomfly was advertising the K8N Neo2 for $149.99 INCLUDING FREE 2nd Day Air. I almost cancelled my order with Monarch, but seeing that:

(a) I don't want to lose my place on the Monarch waiting list, and

(b) Neither Monarch, Zoomfly, or anyone else can guarantee when the boards will actually be available to ship

I decided to eat the $30.00 plus my ($13.00) Three Day Air shipping.

As far as shipping to the UK, we do ship there. If you go to our website and go to the "Welcome" button, it will have a link for international orders.

Ok, new update.

Per email received at 10:00 pm EST on Sunday, all 200 have been confirmed. They have broken it up into two shipments, 50 and 150. The 50 is arriving first, and although unconfirmed (I have not received tracking on it myself) we expect them tommorrow. The next 150 also are set to hit this week, within 3 days of the initial batch. So it is looking like everything is finally coming together! There will be more to follow, as all indications (crossing fingers) are that it won't be a limited availablility product.

Additionally, AMD 3500+ processors have been working their way in-house. While still limited, we are actually seeing some come in to fulfill exisiting orders. (Both OEM and Retail)

Hang in there, I'm working for everyone to get everything in and everyone taken care of!

Thanks for the update Joe! I wish I were in the first batch, but I guess a few days more days won't kill me. My main computer (and my newest and most expensive too) is down so I'm kinda bumming right now.

Yeah, I am in the 180ish range on my order so I got to wait a bit longer but dont care since the cpu isnt in yet. Joe what is your email and will that speed up my order for some reason or just out of curiosity you want to know who we are, lol.
