i know you guys have probably been asked this question before and im sorry to ask it again, but i couldnt find it on the search option... i have bios v1.3 and basically i am wondering if the sata ports 3 and 4 are locked or do you have to set the agp to 67mhz, (i am looking to OC, but need the ports locked), also i would be looking to flash the bios to 1.41.. do you think that would be a good idea or is it not needed?...

i would be appreciative of any input..

Hi Rich85! SATA ports 3 and 4 are locked by default so there's no need to change any settings. SATA ports 1 and 2 are NOT locked and there's no way to lock them. Setting the AGP to 67MHz enables the AGP lock only. It wouldn't hurt to flash to BIOS 1.4. I've been using version 1.41 for two months and it hasn't caused any problems. You don't have to change the AGP freq to enable the lock...it is enabled by default. I'm currently running @ 250FSB x4HTT with sata drives on both #3 and #4 without any problems and the agp is set at 66.
