msi k8n neo2 plat bios ver 1.36

i emailed msi tech support abt a prob i had with changing th HT freq (here's the thread), and they replied asking me to install ver1.36 bios.

b4 i put it on, i'd just like to ask if anyone else has used it and what their experiences might be?

Bios 1.41 is now available, and there is a modified 1.36 available, but 1.41 is solid for me, I can link you to it if required.

I just put together a system & upgraded to 1.40, haven't run any tests so far, but seems fairly stable.

MSI Site still shows that 1.30 is the latest bios for K8N Neo 2. Can anyone please link to 1.41?

Haven't tried it myself - I'm always wary of BIOS' that do not come from the manufacturer itself. One bad apple can ruin a lot of hardware. No offense intended to IHYLN, though.

As integspec stated - MSI's web site shows v1.30 as the latest K8N Neo2 BIOS (this is as of 11:48:24 AM PST). I'll wait for MSI to update their site. Please let me know how v.141 goes for you guys after updating.

i have a copy of the v1.36 bios which was emailed to me by msi tech staff last week to solve this HT freq issue ... so at least that is legit, if not stable. it makes me wonder why they didnt give me v1.4* instead ...
