MSI K8N Neo USB issues

Hi guys,

I have a k8N Neo and am wondering if USB 2.0 is working. I installed win XP then SP2. Then I installed the nForce System Drivers. USB seem to be working but when I check the device manager, there are 3 USB controllers, 2 standard and 1 enhanced. When I hook up a USB device it always connects to the standard USB controllers according to the windows device manager and sandra (not the enhanced controllers) I think the standard controllers are USB 1.1 (since according to sandra it only has 11MBPS of bandwidth. I don't have a USB 2.0 device but i want to know if USB 2.0 is working. HELP!!!

Im really not sure how to determine if USB 2.0 is working but.................HOLY SHYTE!!! How do you have a 3000+ with a 10X multiplier!!!!!

Besides plugging something in that is faster than USB 1.1 I don't know.

I'll tell you that transferring off an external USB drive over USB1.1 is NOT FUN. My PC at work only has USB 1.1 ports.

your ports will work at 2.0 speeds when you plug in a 2.0 device.

most new boards support 2.0 on every port available. mine does. my only problem is my SX600II case does not have 2.0 ports up front, only 1.1... so i can only use it for something small like my USB joystick.

but if you have 2.0 ports, when you plug in a 2.0 device, it will work as 2.0.... don't worry about it.
