MSI K8N Neo Platinum

I'm basically just switching motherboards and I'm having a problem getting the new one to recognize my WD Raptor HDD.

Switching from the Asus K8V SE Deluxe to the MSI K8N Neo Platinum.

Now, I don't have a working floppy drive, so I can't install the drivers on the floppy that came with it, but I was wondering if this was possible (even with the floppy) to fix without completely wiping the hard drive.

Any pointers? Thanks in advance.

We need details on ur rig, is the HDD SATA or IDE? Are you just trying to boot up and the BIOS doesn't recognize it? Details details details!!
I'm planning on making the same switch next week, my K8N Neo Plat is on the way and my K8V SE Deluxe is already sold

Edit: You generally want to format when switching mobo's that have different chipsets, as the mobo drivers can conflict. My $0.02
