MSI K8N Neo Platinum and OCZ 1Gb PC3500 DDR Ram

I've got a MSI K8N Neo Platinum mainboard paired up with one pair of OCZ PC3500 EB memory 1 Gb total, but as soon as I boot my system it keeps giving me this beeping signal which tells me there is something wrong with my memory because I replaced it with 2 oem sticks and then there is no problem, can anybody please help me, is it the fact that I use PC3500 DDR in stead of PC3200 DDR because that is what MSI claims it must be the problem?!?!

try slots 1,3 if it doenst work in 1,2 or you could try 2,3. Also try with 1 stick and manualy set the voltage and timings in the bios then reboot and add the second stick.

Been there and done that but nothing seems to work I think I'm gonna give up because I've tried it on three rigs now with the same result everytime.
