Hope not, If it has ill wait for Tyan's K8WEX Dual CPU, SLI, SATAII, IDE, Integrated Ultra 320 SCSI, 1394a, AC97 Sound, PCI-X 133 & PCI-X 100 and they were still able to fit in a couple of PCI 2.3 slots.

If it had Integrated SB Live like the Diamond it would be the perfect board, but then you could turn it into the perfect board with the addition of a SB Live card.

The Down side is Registered RAM $$$ & 200 series Opterons $$$ and a new power supply.

The upside asume stability with the Registered RAM and twice the CPU grunt of any other SLI offering on the market.

does the K8N Neo4 Platinum have the 4x PCI-e slot or not (in addition to the 16x)? Newegg and ZZF have different pictures of the board and different specs (newegg's shows the one with the 4x slot), and MSI's website also has the one with the 4x slot pictured. I'm guessing this mobo will let you run in SLI as Anand's article recently showed with the DFI UT nforce4.

seems like this is the board to beat, except for possibly DFI, taking everything into consideration, including the board layout - this is the only board where you still have 3 pci slots available even with a big video card cooler installed, as far as I know

this is the K8n Neo4 Platinum/SLI

The k8n neo4 platinum uses the NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra
The k8n neo4 platinum/sli uses the NVIDIA nForce4 SLI

but then you are wondering whats the K8N Neo4 Diamond
the k8n neo4 diamond = k8n platinum/sli with some minor differences
the reason for this is that the the Neo4 platinum/sli is to be sold in the US
and the diamond is to be sold to the rest of the world

FYI:
Are these really the same board?

I ordered this:
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=241159
BUT:
What I thought was my K8N Neo4 Platinum /SLI delivered on Friday, but in looking over the board I realize it's not the product ordered. The motherboard name silkscreened onto the PCB says K8N Diamond with a N1996 above it. I just got a MSI Diamond Board in a Box that says K8N Neo4 Platinum /SLI (601-7100-020)
MSI Taiwan has different BIOS on their site for each board and I can't find the Diamond on th US site.
Everything on the packaging says K8N NEO4/SLI as does the manual and everything.
