Looking into these two MB and can't decide. I'm planning to get a 1gig TBird and eventually going to OC it later. I have not owned a AMD system before so this is my first so not too sure how these boards perform. Anyone of you played with these 2 boards b4, put your thoughts here.

Thanks

GO with the MSI easy to setup and stable as hell. The abit is a good board to if you get a good one it took 2 for me.Ive built several msi boards recently without any problems.

I have the MSI and its solid. Getting pretty good memory scores as well.

Duron 800@963 (1.7v and 107Mhz fsb)

My cooler sucks so I am pretty sure my Duron would preform solidly at 1gig with a better cooler.

Try www.monarchcomputers.com

Excellent company to deal with. Got my K7TProA in less than 4 days.

GET MSI K7TProA!!! I'm so stoked about this mobo, first try, 650 duron straight to 900 on 1.65v. Win98 has yet to crash on me after a week of use.

Lovin it.

I got mine at pcprogress for $130 but it did have the silver caps instead of the green(not that they do anything). Go with MSI if this is your first system build...more stable.
