Sisoft Sandra: Still to be done

BIOS History:
1.00 - FREQUENT Blue Screens, Hard freezes and I/O errors.
1.0B9 - Problems gone, system running stably.
1.0B10 - Wanted to give this a shot and system is also running smoothly with it.

Notes:
I had some issues last night. I flashed back down to 1.0B9 to run some benches, but the system wouldn't boot past the Win2000 load screen after flashing. After flashing back up to 1.0B10 and changing some configs in the BIOS settings, it seems I had some problems with using the 'Keyboard Power-On' (or whatever it's called, it's the one that allows you to assign a certain key combo to boot the system, instead of using the power button) option in BIOS 1.0B9.

More testing and yutzing tonight!

Goddamn THING!!!

I spoke too soon. :| It took me HOURS before being back into the system tonight! Damned thing wouldn't get passed the Window's 'starting up' splash screen.

Now I don't know if it's the Mobo or system files or HD!

What a PAIN IN THE ASS!

Namuna: I went ahead and installed Win2K on my system last night. Since so many people seem to be having problem either running or just installing Win2K I figured I better give it a shot. I was able to install Win2K. I only had to minor issues where the computer spontaneously rebooted itself during the install. I haven't had a chance to really test the system's stability in Win2K yet. One thing I have noticed is that I get a blue screen error and the computer shuts down when I close SiSoft Sandra. The actual tests run fine, it's just when I exit the program. I am using the 1.0B9 BIOS and my Sandra Mem scores are 538/713. This is about the same as what I get running WinMe. Maybe tonight or tomorrow I'll run the system some more in Win2K and test its stability.
