Are there any known issues/problems with this board ? I have been offered one for £20, which sounds like a good deal, but if there are some issues with the board, i'll forget it. Also is this board any better than the K7S5A ? which im currently using at the moment ?

No known issues and its a superb upgrade to the ECS nonsense. This is an older chipset (KT266A) but is able to run most of todays cpus - (not sure about XP2400+ and higher). I use the K7T266Pro2-RU and so far so good after 1 year. Great board and the ECS is no comparison.
Having said that why are you doing the upgrade since you may not see significant improvements but then £20 is no big deal I guess.

Well i've just moved into Uni, 3rd week now :) I was looking at the newsgroups, im actually after a cheap second hand printer off someone on site, but i spotted this advert, for £20 i thought brilliant. Its a via266a too, slightly faster than the sis 735, plus theres f**k all in the way of o/c on the k7s5a, i want to try to clock my xp1800 at some point in the future, so k7s5a would have to go eventually. The ECS board was a quick and cheap replace, since my mobo had packed up, its been ok, but nothing special, just was a cheap replacement, i ran out of money.

I probably could have found this out if i dug round on the net, but tbh, i couldn't be bothered, im already in the right frame of mind for Uni ;)

Any other opinions ? like to get as much feedback as possible

Very stable board. I believe there was an upgrade for bios to support 2600+. MSI
Depends on the ver. of the board.
