I was reseting my CMOS today and forgot to put the jumper block back on pins 1 and 2 (save settings). Now it wont power on or anything. The only way to get it to power up is to put the block back on pins 2 and 3 (clear cmos). This is the pits because it erases the BIOS settings after each reboot. Anyone know if there is a way to fix this? PLEASE!!!!

I had a similar problem a while back. Pins 1 and 2 on the K7T Turbo is the clear CMOS. Pins 2 and 3 is the save settings, but the manual has the picture backwards, so just double check and you should be fine.

Well, the wierd thing is, that when it reboot,s it freezes and i have to hold the power button down to get it to restart properly. Then when i go back into BIOS the steetinsg are back to default.

Try putting the jumper back on 1 and 2 and install the 100MHZ fsb jumper, reset the clock multiplier in bios, reboot then shut down, then remove the 100mhz fsb jumper.. this is assuming you have been using 133fsb+

Question?
I can't get my system to boot at all at 133fsb setting
RIG:
900 t-bird
MSI k7t turbo
20 gig wd hd

When I pull the jumper to run at 133 fsb system will not boot.
T-bird has been penciled (unlocked)
Any Ideas??

I use the overclockers bios..using it I was able to run 133 by setting the appropriate clock that was only avaliable in the OC bios flash and then rebooted, removed the 100mhz jumper and then it would boot up to 133.

Atlantis- the 100mhz/133mhz FSB jumper is changed based on the cpu you have. 100mhz for a 200mhz cpu and 133mhz for a 266mhz cpu. Your 900 t-bird is a 200mhz. It worked for me when I got my 1.2(266)but failed when I tried my 1.1(200).

Yeah...the manual that was included with my mobo has that setting misprinted. I downloaded the PDF document manual and sure enough, it was the correct way.
