I used to have no problems using MSI's "PC Alert" software to monitor the CPU and fans. Recently though, I get the following Windows error message more often than not:
When the error occurs, the PC Alert icon is not present in the Task Bar's notification area (Windows XP). But when I check Windows Task Manager, the "Processes" tab shows that Alert.exe is running. Any ideas how to fix problem? Think it's an XP-related problem?

I uninstalled PC Alert and went to MSI's site for the latest version. Installed it and still get the error most of the time.Access violation at address 004CB46E in module 'alert.exe'. Read of address 00AD0000.
