My mobo has a problem with the RAM i'm using. I just got the mobo yesterday. When I try booting, all I get is countinuous beeping. The led shows RGRR which i know is memory problem. I'm using two sticks of 133MHz RAM. The RAM works fine on another PC.

Anyway, I've returned the mobo and got a new one but the problem still exists.

sounds somewhat similar to my problem. i have 2 sticks of PC 133, and no matter what order they are in the slots, whenever i have 2 sticks of ram in, it won't install any large programs(like games) or run them. i don't know if it's a problem with MSI's board, or if i have to change something in the BIOS, but having a perfectly good 128mb stick of ram sitting around doing nothing is a bit annoying...

Man, that sounds just like my dead bios board. Even the LED pattern is same.
But it's highly unlikely that you get two board with dead bios chip.
Can you boot at all? Just beeping? The mornitor doesn't post at all?

Guys what ram are you using?I use Crucial PC133 CAS2 in my MSI K7T Pro board (2 sticks of 128mb)which is rock stable,& was just wondering if you are using Generic stuff.

Both are brand new boards. And I don't get any successful boot. My monitor didn't even light up. It detects the CPU but hangs after that. I still get the RGRR led combanation. Could it be a dead bios problem or maybe my lousy RAM (some kind of cheap hyundai chipset). What should i do if a dead bios is the problem?.

If your system can't proceed to detect Floppy, well, very little chance for fixing it your own.
You could try local repair shops to reprogram, or order new bios chip from msi.
But why bother? Take it back, get the money back or credit and get a new kt133a based board.
It doesn't sound a memory problem.

I didn't even have the chance to OC. The problem occurred on my very first maiden boot.

My system wouldn't post or do anything. Just a blank screen. This happened after I tried to flash with LiveBios. I received a verify error at the beginning of the flash and boom , bye bye baby.

Although it would seem odd to have a board right out of the box with a bad cmos chip.
