I've had countless problems with this laptop - either bios or firmware related. Now I only have one left.
Whenever my laptop comes out of sleep mode, the icon in the bottom right has the red X through the wireless icon, and it just says no networks available. I try to manually turn the adapter on and off to make it restart, but it does nothing.
The only temporary fix I have for it, is to click "troubleshoot problems." I usually have to do that twice and then it starts to work again.
Also when I had snow leopard installed - the wireless would not work from a cold boot. I would have to turn the computer on, boot into OSX, then restart the computer again for it to work.
I'm pretty sure this is a hardware/bios issue - as it has problems in both OSes, but is there anything else I can try? FYI everything is up to date. MSI sucks for support btw, as i had to get the bios, firmware, and drivers from the UK website.
