I have two of these in my machine and I also bought one for my sister. In december I was at a LAN party and my screen started getting artifacts. I opeened my case and the fan had literally fallen off one of my cards. So I RMA'ed it. No problem. Then my sisters computer starts having problems, she brings it down, after I go through a bunch of checks and stuff I find that the fan on her card had fallen off as well.

So I swap one of my cards to hers for a while so we can RMA hers. But the fan on my other card has seized up. I am able to free it up and it starts spinning but makes a buzzing noise when spinning. Then I'm inside my computer again today and I find the fan on my other card has stopped as well.

Anyone else have problems with this. What can I do. I don't want to buy fanless coolers for three cards.

Cliffs notes:

3 MSI GeForce 6600GTs (one was an RMA)
4 Dead fans (2 seized, 2 fell off the card)

this seems to be a reoccuring problem with MSI 6600GT cards... all I can say is "BAD MSI! BAD!" for not issuing fine quality control standards.
