;) Not only that but a 4200 could get from 250/444 to 320/444, 250/600 or any where between and there are no guarantees. If you want an idea then a 4200_64MB or 4200-8X_128MB should hit close to 300/600 while a 4200_128MB should get around 300/550. When ever o/c'ing anything take it in small steps and test thoroughly at each setting for any visual glitches or other signs of breaching the limit and then back it down a couple of steps. I'd try the RAM first and then the core. Do rem any gain is pretty much a free one and even if you're stuck at 250/444 you're still faster than a Rad8500 or GF3TI500 which is no bad thing at all! Oh and avoid modding the card as it's a waste of time and gains are usually VERY small, not worth the time, money, hassle or invalidation of your warranty.

thanks for the tips. it defaults at 250/513 so from what youve been saying ill just leave it there. seems high enough

;) Still makes alot of sense to see how high it can go, it could hit 300/600 and probably will, that will beat TI4400 by quite a way, not bad for free. Take it gradually, find the limits and then back off a bit, then BM in your fav games/apps and see what diff there is!

I have the 64MB version of the card you're asking about. I was able to clock the core up to 315 mhz and memory to 600 mhz which easily surpasses a 4400 at stock speeds and in some cases clocks higher than an overclocked 4400. My core clocks were higher than a couple people's 4400 overclocks.

If you want some additional cooling for your card check out this kit:
