Hi all

Hope someone can help me out, cause I'm really lost here, and I consider myself a seasoned when it comes to computer assembly.
I just got my last parts for my new computer yesterday, and plugged in the processor (socket 775) and RAM (GEiL PC2-4300) and tried to boot up, but nothing happened = no image on the screen or anything.
All I got to go after is the D-Bracket which MSI deleivers with my MSI 915P/G Neo2 Platinum, and normally is a nifty feature.
I havent been able to find out what that error code the Bracket is showing means, because there isent a guide with the mobo that shows the possible combinations!
What I is this: http://www.msicomputer.com/support/sup_tshoot.asp
The problem with that is that it is in black and white, and dosent show what color is which.
My Bracket can show 3 colors, green, red, orange (those are the ones I've seen till now).
When I turn on my computer it shows green about 1/10th of a second, and then it changes to the following:
Red Orange (top row)
Red Red (bottom row)

From that troubleshooting guide I linked to earlier, it could be either Memory Detection Test or Initializing Floppy Drive Controller errors, but changing the RAM did nothing, and attaching a floppy drive dident do anything either.
I even took out the processor again, and still got the same error!

I wrote MSI yesterday, telling them about my Bracket error code, and asking for a color version of the codes and got one of those autogenerated answers with "make sure you've turned on the power" and all that rubbish + and they send me the same link to the error codes I posted above!

If anyone got any suggestions (except ones involving sledgehammers and ducttape), please share them!

Best regards and happy easter :)

Ok one thing to try is resetting the Bios, i have had this problem before when building systems.

Also looking at your link and your description is it possible that when you see the orange LED it is acctually red and just looks orange in which case like you link says it might be a CPU problem. Do you have another CPU to test
