Hello i have a huge problem with artefacts all over the screen.
Here is a low quality picture of the artefacts.

-I do not encounter the "normal" texture anomaly artefacts etc under default gpu/memory clocks
Im gonna start with writing down the pc configs on which i tryed the card.
1. config
opteron 170
nf4
2gb infineon
2.config
c2d 6600
asus commando
2gb cellshock ddr1000
(i used the same PSU and 2 different sets of disks (160gb hitachi with XP, 2x320gb hitachi raid0 with VISTA)
-I tryed the grafic card on both configs
-I used for both systems PSU enermax liberty 620W.
-Both cpus were watercooled.
-Both cpu and memory were tested for stability with memtest86 and double prime95 and orthos => 100% stable.
-The issue cannot be overheating since i tryed the grafic card with stock cooler (~75C full load) and with watercooling ( 42C full load)
-I used 2 different OS ( XP & Vista )
-I used different grafic card drivers on vista and on xp
-I tested on default system configuration (all on default from cpu to grafic card) as well as on overclocked. I encoutered the grafic card problem before i tryed to overclock the card to force this kind of artefacts, so the problem cannot be a result of overclocking.

What triggers the artefacts ?
-i first noticed them in company of heroes, randomly, one time a few seconds after the mission loaded, another time after a few minutes etc
-i have experienced this kind of artefacts even in vista under 3d desktop view
-in oblivion but not that often
-in graw (ghost recon ...) after a few minutes
-rainbow six vegas (the only game that ALWAYS triggers the artefacts over a few seconds or in matter of a minute or 2)
-when i open 3dview in ati tools
Why dont i get artefacts in benchmarks and video card demos ?
-I do not. Not under default clocks. To trigger this kind of artefacts in 3dmark06 i had to OC the gpu clock to 665
-i did find something very wierd when i tryed to trigger the artefacts in 3dmark06 with overclocking. I found that texture anomalys etc appeared on much lower clocks than ussualy on this kind of video cards (experiences from other overclockers etc)
-I tryed to find a program that would instantly tell there is something wrong with the card ( since its easier than send the card back to the shop and say "test it on rainbow six vegas ...)
-I tryed several demos and benches (dx9 as well as those 2 dx10..cascades and the new one variance shadow maps), but the only wierd thing i encountered under default clocks was something in the NVIDIA demo FROGGY.
When i load froggy i get those fullscreen artefacts for less than i second and than the frog appears... always the same. Ussualy when i get those artefacts the app freezes and the artefacts stay there unless the pc reboots. But not with froggy... they appear for a second and than the demo loads normaly.
Do you need some other data ?
