This is the craziest thing I have ever seen happen, I had the bios version 1.02 with my MSI 815e board and I could overclock my PIII 700 to 933 at 1.75 volts and run at Cas2 stable wiith an Alpha Pal35t no problem. Then I got the itch to see if I could push it a little further so I ordered a 52 watt Leufken Peltier Kit. Once I installed the Peltier and turned my computer back on it wouldn't even post the only way I could get it to post was to clear the cmos and run it at stock speed. I then updated the bios to 1.03 and still it won't run stable at anything but stock. Is the processor not working at the cooler temp it runs at about 20 degrees Celsius with Peltier about 42 degrees without. I have a 250 Power supply. Any help would be great! Thanks

I've always wondered about this myself. I had a celeron that I had to hardwire for 1.65v for the system to boot but it wouldn't boot if I set the bios to 1.65v. I wonder if there is a voltage supply problem on the board at boot up. I bet if you hardwired the correct voltage you'd have no problem. You can do this by referencing Intel's site for CPU ID pins and their affect on voltages.
