Anyone run into this problem? If so please let me know about it as it will make my troubleshooting easier when I get home. I'm running the 1.6 BIOS BTW.

If you have have your hard drives on those RAID ports, you need to install the RAID driver during the win2k installation process. I don't remember the exact procedure, but you must do some thing like this.

- Boot your computer in DOS,
- Run win 2k setup in DOS mode.
- Some files will be copied to your computer, then.
- Win 2k set up will ask if you have some special driver. ( Press S to specify special driver)
- Put the RAID driver into the floppy. Select the driver.

Hope this helps.

Okay heh, maybe I should have explained a bit more. I did that, otherwise win2k wouldn't boot at all. What it does is reboot after setup, go through the hardware detection, then install files, COM+, etc. then it will do the start menu items, then it gets to "Registers Components" and will lock up when the bar is about halfway through. My guess is some hardware conflict that I'm going to have to pull out all of my cards for (which will be a PITA) so I was just looking to see if anyone else ran into this issue and knows anything about it.
