I'm in the market for a 6800gt and i'm not sure wich one to get. the MSI one seems very nice. Comes with prince of persia (really cool game) and XIII, naver played it but hey if its free lol, and URU which iv also never heard of. it also comes with that digital drive program so u can play all ur games without swaping CDs. sounds like a great deal for $430. but will it work and overclock as well as say an eVGA or XFX?

Also, do u think a 6800GT will last me till june of 2006? like by then will i still most likely be able to play all game on high or Med 1280x1024 with some AA and AF on?

It will probably be the same as all the other cards for OCing. Also I would guess the card will still be plenty playable June 2006. I mean it is liek top of the line right now... so It should still be kicking in 2 years. look at the 9700 Pro its still doing great.

URU is the fourth installment of Myst. Cool game if you like to solve puzzles - that's what it's all about. URU was one of the few games I had problems with on my GT. There is a level with waterfalls that would lock up, it was rather unplayable. Maybe a future driver will rectify the problem. I would think the issue is linked to the GT, since I never had the same issue with my FX5900.

I'v looked at the BFG and XFX also. the BFG comes with no extra programs and is overclocked 20 mghz outa the box (big deal, any GT can overclock farther than that). the XFX comes with a free copy of doom but i already have doom. i could buy the XFX and sell my old copy of doom and keep the new one but id rather get the MSI and get new software that i could use. Also, the MSI does NOT have the ref. cooler. take a closer look at it. it doesnt have those memory heatsinks. The fan goes over all of it. it looks more like an ATI HSF :Q

The MSI 6800GT seems like a solid choice
