I know this is a bit off topic, but do your cards have a lot of coil whine?

I've only noticed coil whine at times where the frame rate must be super high. At regular gaming FPS I haven't heard any. I think in that case it is entirely normal and most cards have it, as opposed to excessive whine at other times.

+1 for XFX RMA. I've had to RMA twice in about a 4 year span and both times it was a positive experience.

One possible way to know if is the serial number on the box matches the serial number on the card.
