hi

i am looking for a way to identify if a given windows 2000 advanced server was installed by using MSDN cd's OR by commerical CD's. the cd's are not existing anymore.

your MSDN login has a keys page, match the keys.

Also, if you don't have a license sticker/COA, then I would assume it's not for production. That's how we go here...we have 6?ish MSDN subs, and assume that unless we have a license on file, then it's not valid for anything other then testing.
