MSCONFIG help deleting entries

Vyle

Senior member
I know how to get into MSCONFIG and check and uncheck programs I want to start at startup. But how do I actually delete items from the list?

Hi Vyle,

There are some registry entries you need to delete, but the easiest way is to grab a program called RegCleaner that removes them. You can also delete the entries directly from the startup folder if that's where they are. Hope that helps.

Can't you just go to Add/Remove programs and remove the program you want. Then your MSConfig entry should be gone completly.
