MSCONFIG and limiting the memory

Is it true that if you limit the memory down to 1 meg (by running msconfig) that there is no way to boot up windows?

I am not trying that. Someone had just told me that Windows wouldn't boot. That's all...

you need to partition your drive. put only windows in one of the partitions. windows
functions as stand alone. fumbling around with msconfig would not be the best route.
