Anounced new BIOS upgrade for MS9158E motherboard
1."040831.zip".
Date : 2004-08-31
instruction : Fixed winxp SP2 install with prescott C-0 stepping CPU system hang on the first reboot .
OK, i got it :fixed XP SP2 with PRESCOTT, but the MOB supports how i
know NORTWOOD CPU chips up to 3.06ghz, if they upgraded to PRESCOTT than how big is the MAX CPU support?
2.Before was another BIOS upgrade too:
040826.zip Date : 2004-08-26
instruction : Add one option (Max CPIID Value Limit) into "Advanced setup" menu,
If you need to install WinNT, you have to set "Enabled"
????What it means? They broked 3.06 ghz CPU support barier(Max CPIID Value Limit)?
And final i can't get what it's final MAX CPU support and which one?

It still only supports 533mhz FSB, so the 3.06ghz northwood is still the fastest CPU it supports, it also now apperntly supports the 533mhz FSB prescotts with no HT. The 3.06 is still the best chip for the board since it's the only hyperthreaded chip it supports. Their website isn't very informative, and I have never heard of them,
