Hi, I have a table within MS word. The table has 2 columns and about 1200 rows. In the first column are names and some other information, in the second column is addresses. What i want to do is make a mailing list using the names and addresses. There are about 1200 names/address. I need to edit out the other information that is in the column with the names so that i can merge the names with the addresses. Is there a way to select just the first line from a row/colunn.... for example... here is one a selection from the first column....
John Doe
date on staff 12/5/03
Return to service 4/5/02
So what i want to do is just select the first line and use that or select the second 2 lines and delete them.
I'm trying to avoid having to go row by row and select and delete the unneeded information.
Thanks for any help.
