MS Word not maximizing the screen when I click maximize?

Kinda a strange problem. When I click "maximize screen" on MS Word, it maximizes to the entire screen except for a small bar at the top where I can see my windows background. The bar is just about 1/3" high. Any ideas? I've tried minimizing, then maximizing, changing screen resolutions, nothing seems to work to make it actually fill the entire screen. It just started doing this about a week ago but it is very annoying because I keep closing the wrong window by accident (since the "x" in the top right corner is actually the "x" for another window, not MS Word). Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I probably don't actually. I just did the install about 3 days ago when I got my new computer. I'll try doing that today and see what happens. Thanks!
