[*]Used Word for years without problem.
[*]Quite frequently I use the numbering or bullets to create outlines and lists.
  • I like to have multiple levels in my outlines and lists (like this post).
[*]I've installed Word on at least 2 dozen machines and all work the same.
[*]Except one, my home computer. It won't let me use Tab and Shift-Tab to increase/decrease indents on these numbered lists.
[*]The help file gets me nowhere. All it says is that Tab and Shift-Tab are the shortcut keys.
[*]I can take the exact same Word document that won't Tab/Shift-Tab at home to work and the keys work there.
[*]Any ideas?

Yes I can do that (you don't even have to highlight, but just click on), I even put a temporary button up on my home computer to make it easy. Either way, I don't want to have to use the mouse all the time when tab/shift-tab is so much more efficient.

Well I certainly have never changed those options. Thanks. I never change those options so I never thought to look there. Maybe the wife did. I just checked at work and that is exactly the symptom I'm getting. I'll look at home tonight.
