How do I get word to keep on putting my last name and page number inside the margin? I'm trying to write a research paper in MLA format.
 
Inside the margin? I thought that last name and page number go in the upper right hand corner. Either way, you can just goto

View > Headers and Footers

Then whatever you write in the header or footer will show up on every page. Just toss in the auto page number field and you're set.
