It's some sort of line break or heading line, but I can't delete it. It's annoying the hell out of me. :disgust:

Thanks for the help!

Well i'm helping edit a resume of a friend for law school. She used a friend's format and can't edit that line. I put regular heading lines under her other sections, but I couldn't get rid of that odd one. I tried copying parts of her resume over to insert a new line, but that line always gets copied over...no matter what part of the document I copy over. I'm guessing it's some default feature for that particular document that won't go away uness you know what it is.

I just left my cursor blinker up on the top (liek to start typing) and held delete. It came up and eventually got deleted.

Don't try to highlight it or anything, doesn't work.

It may have to with the way your word is setup. I can hit return forever and it won't come back.

On the document I put online, I got the same reuslts you guys got. However, the document i'm having trouble with his my friend's resume. The line is stuck in the middle of the resume. I've given up on trying to fix it, I told my friend that the document has weird settings and to try to retype it. However, i'm still curious to know what it is.

Thanks for all your help. :)
