MS Word Expert Needed!

I don't know if this is even possible, but here's what I want to do using Word.

I am importing info. from a database (mailmerge) for labels and would like to have the first two fields (field1, field2) left AND right justified on one line.

I am stumped...can't use spaces or tabs because each field is variable in length.
any help would be greatly appreciated!
