MS Visual Studio 6 help

I'm such a n00b for asking this Q, but here it goes:

I want to create a new web project in the interdev, but the wizard keeps asking me what server I want to connect to, and when I type in my local server (localhost) it says unable to contact the server. My question is that do I need to enter a server at all? (I'd prefer not to enter a server), and if I do, do I need to enter server address other than localhost? Thanks for the input

Yeah, I know this tale. Well Interdev is looking for the WebServer. LocalHost does not work, if I recall, the name of your IIS Webserver is required.

But my question is what are you trying to create? Just ASP pages? Java Pages?

Thanks for the response, yah I just want to create some ASP files, but I would like to group them in a project... D'oh, guess I have to enter the server address then... This might sound stupid, but where can I resolve my IIS server address? I use this external client (DYNU) that DNS my IP to gilty85.dynu.com, I tried entering gilty85.dynu.com but still no go.
