MS Virtual PC 2007 + RDC question

Nocturnal

Lifer
I have a question regarding Windows Virtual PC 2007 and Windows Server 2008 Ent. RC.

I have two boxes here. One is my main box and the other is like a test machine. On the test machine I have Virtual Server 2007. I tried RDCing into the test box and then playing with the virtual machine but was unable to get the mouse to work properly.

Is there anything I am doing wrong? I know for a fact when I used VMWare I was able to use the mouse with no problems.
Thanks in advance!

for me in virtual PC 2007, once I single left-click in the Virtual section, my mouse control stays in there until I right-alt click, which returns my mouse control to Vista

He's using RDP not the VPC console, or at least that what the description sounds like.

Nocturnal, did you install the VPC additions?

So you are using Remote Desktop to connect to the virtual machine, not the Virtual PC console, correct?

Can you clarify what you mean by the mouse not working properly?

As of tonight, the mouse works, albeit a little slow. Thanks for the help. I tried restarting last night and it still wouldn't work. I have no idea what made it work this time around.

I've skipped this thread several times and finally came in for a look.

I think you'll get more traffic here if you change "RDC" to "RDP" in the title.
