Basic Specs: A7V133, 1GHz TB (266), Geforce2 GTS, Booting from the onboard RAID, Very Recent Clean Install of Win98SE.
Previously I was running a TB 750 and didn't have many problems. Recently I purchased the Gig and now my life is hell. When I boot at 1GHz, ocassionaly, it will say something along the lines of "Not enough extended memory to run windows. Quit some programs or restart windows," or it will run the registry checker and reset my system to a previous state, this was becomming a major problem because I had done a clean install of windows and had to redo everything I had done.
I've been running the memory at 133 and doing the extended post to see if I get any errors. One of my sticks didn't want to boot at 133 (infineon 128mb), but the other did though still producing the same errors. I tested the chip on an other computer and it seemed to work fine, the memory is also running on another system at 133.
Could my mobo be the problem? Is there a fault with 98SE and chips over a gig?
Thanks
