Waterfall,

I've been wanting to get one of these and missed the $8 after MIR deal of a couple of weeks ago.

...but is this going to work? I'm not sure that BB will price match to the $30 AR price when theirs is $15 AR. Anyone have experience with BB price match policy?

Fill me in....

BB won't PM CompUSA because it's technically a $10 instant rebate. BB is really bad for PMing. $15 is still a pretty good deal, i might get it anyway.

you can take one and check out. You will get receipt and rebate forms. Then bring the receipt and compUSA ad goto the customer service to PM. it worked for me. good luck.

Worked for me. Took the mouse right to the cashier and showed him the compUSA ad, he checked in the computer, and said "I don't know, we have a rebate on this." So I said "Yeah, but their's is an instant rebate and I'm still waiting on a rebate from Best Buy from Thanksgiving (GF3ti200)." He said OK and bless his heart he must have misread the compUSA ad and thought it said $10 off of $29.99 so he price-matched to $19.99. Anyway, great deal! I also got the $10 modem to check out V92.

I got in on the Staples Intellimouse Optical for 9.99$ after MIR and all went perfect - 10$ check arrived from microsoft about 2 weeks ago and the mouse is a dream. Like it a lot more then my Logitech Optical. Don't really use the extra two buttons but microsoft's better mouse software was worth the 10$ in itself.

Speaking of the GF3ti200 rebate, I called the BB rebate hotline, and they got in touch with the Visiontek people, got my rebate like 3 days after. If you dont call I think you'll get in in about 4-6 more weeks. Now, I have not still gotten the Ram rebate, nor the 30 from the cdrw rebate - got one of the 2 rebates, the bb one I believe. All others came through for me. I think I will be grabbing another optical mouse, as they are the only ones I can use - spoiled me, I guess!

thanks, and I'll try and pricematch....

I interned at MS over the summer, and saw some really sweet prototype mouses. This is definitely a good deal, think I'll get one tomorrow.

That usually works best for me too.
Just bought minr tonight. I will PM it tomorrow. Hope I get a young pup at the customer service center. Some of the veterans can be real pricks about PM-ing.

EVEN HOTTER!!!
Pricematch to compusa at Best buy and send in those rebates and then pricematch with AMEX, thus making money for yourself.

Eh, personally I would rather go with the intellimouse explorer for like $20 or so that was posted earlier. Much better mouse, and no MIR or PM to mess with, plus it has lifetime warranty, I think the optical is only a couple years. But hey, whatever floats your boat :)

I have heard great things about the MS Intellimouse Explorer, but for $5.00 after rebates I want someone to tell me where to get a better buy than this on a mouse that scans the desktop 6,000 times per second???

I just came back from buying this mouse at BB......right next door is C-USA which is really convenient for things like this. I asked the clerk at the register what I had to do for a pricematch, and he said..........."Got the AD?" I showed him the C-USA ad, he called a supervisor who signed off on the pricematch, rang it up at $29.99 and along with the receipt came two rebate forms: 1 for $10, 1 for $15. Unbelieveable deal for $4.99 dontcha think?

This was a very sweet deal imho..........and I want to thank Waterfall for an excellent post.....especially since it was only the 3d post that he/she made.

And to think this thread almost died. I found it on the 2d page of Hot Deals, and have my preferences set for 100 posts per page.

Get 'em while they're hot ya'll!!!...........:Q:D

SpotDancer, are you sure the mouse you bought has 6,000 frames per second? The Best Buy and CompUSA websites say it has 1500. They are probably getting rid of their older mouses and making them cheap.

I bought one at BB this afternoon, along with all the rebate receipts and stuff. It clearly says 6,000 on the box.

I've received all but the GF3ti200 rebate - got the RAM fairly quickly awhile ago and go the CDRW this week after calling last week. Seems like they sit on the rebates until you call!!

ARGH! Well I must be the first one to be denied a PM, but they did it. They said it "wasn't the same one in the ad". What a bunch of baloney. If someone could scan a copy of your receipt with the PM I would be very grateful.

Nice catch waterfall :)

Can't believe it took me two days to realize it. I kept thinking the $10 off @ cusa was an MIR.

Picking one up tomorrow. Thanks

Are BB MIR deals nationwide? I went to my local BB tonight to take advantage of this deal, but their MIR was only for $10, not $25.

According to BestBuy.com I believe it's two rebates for $10 and $15 which add up to $25 total.

Not sure though, can anyone else verify?
