MS Intellimouse is the best !!

I have about a 3 year old MS Intellimouse. About half hour ago I spilt a whole beer on it directly. I wiped it off and the thing never missed a beat. I thought it was finished but it works perfect still. One thing for sure when it does finally die I will be getting another one like it or the new model. In case anyone was looking for a reliable mouse this is the way to go. Only thing I am out is about 8 ozs. of Bud Light.

definately, man. the mouse rocks. i mean i could never go back to that stupid ball type mouse. at work we use that ball type mouse and its like i want to ask my supervisor if i can donate a intellimouse (i have one extra at home)
 
You spilt an entire beer? On a mouse? Did you just pour it straight from your hand?

I'm in shock. There are greater crimes, but not many.

I tried the new ones. The int. optical, explorer.....nothing will ever match the old ms intellimouse with intellieye. Optical kicks balls in the...balls....any day. 😀 But the shape is justso comfy. Took me a week to track one of these things down, theyre becoming rare.
 
/cheer for the MS Intellimouse 🙂 I have one of the original Explorer's, I've been using it for 3+ years... about 1 year in I had to replace it (in-store swap) but this one's been going strong for 2+ now and I'll be using it 'till it dies, then I might go for a new 3.0 ...till then, there's no need 🙂 This 1.0 works perfect even for twitch FPS gaming, and no cleaning required!

I'd not even thought to look, but when you mentioned that, it made me wonder... and I just checked, and there's no way to open the mouse. (at least not on my MS Wheelmouse Optical).
 
I've had my original Microsoft Intellieye Explorer for more than two years and I absolutely love it. It's the best mouse I've ever used and the tracking and accuracy is superb, especially in FPSes.

To clear things up I was doing too many things at once and smacked the beer as I walked by. It spilt directly on it (almost a full beer). Still working fine almost 24 hours after the bath and I dont think I will clean it since it is working. It is the 1.0 old school one but definatly a goodie. Glad to hear you other MS Intellimouse happy users. I have lost 2 keyboards to beer (I know I know be more careful) but I am glad the mouse could take it. I will definatly go w/ the 3.0 eventually.

I use my computer a lot and drink beer a lot also. Just victims to fun nothing major. I have an Office Keyboard now that is nice so have been careful enough so far not to spill on it. May have to try one of those cups. Where did you get yours? May be an idea 😉
