MS Exchange Read Receipt

Hi All

Does any know if a Read Receipt Request can be cancelled

I sent a message to our whole company 6 months ago and at the time my PC was set to always request a read receipt. how ever our company has over 5000 employes and i am still getting messages daily saying wether ppl have read the message or not. We are currently running exchange 5.5 and i wanted to know if there was anyway to cancel this request.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you can cancel it, however you can set it up so when it processes the read receipt, it will dump it into another folder and not mess up your inbox.

Yea I have already thought of that but because i still use read receipts (Although not as a default anymore) i was wondering if it could be stopped any other way. Do you know if i delete the account and recreate it if that would work.
