I have a question regarding this...

8 clients + 1 server (w/ MS Exchange) in building A

10 Clients + 1 server (w/ MS Exchange) in bulding B (1000 miles away)

I want all 18 clients to be "seamless"..meaning they
all have full access to network drives, printers, MS Exchange
settings, Outlook Calander/contacts etc.

example: when one person updates the Outlook Contacts/Calendar
in building B, the people in building A will see the updates). How would
I do this? Is there a way to "mirror" the servers in both buildings?

Set one server up as a PDC (Primary Domain Controller) and the other as a BDC (Backup DOmain Controller). Your bigest issue really is the connection type. If you are working on a dial-up, you are going to have performance issues, but if you have ISDN/DSL/Frame Relay/Partial T1/T1, you will be fine.
