I don't want to sound COMPLETELY lame but did anyone else notice this feature in the upcoming title "lips"? Pretty sure the ability to use your own mp3 collection would be a perfect combination for heavy drinking + lots of friends  . This way you aren't tied to the usually lame song list on these titles.

"Microsoft flaunted "Lips," a new sing-along game similar to Sony's popular "SingStar" franchise. Unlike "SingStar," this karaoke game developed by iNiS enables wannabe singers to croon their preexisting tunes from MP3 players and to bust moves with a microphone that's motion sensitive, a feature that's been a hallmark of the Wii."

Yah, you're pretty lame. 😉

Everyone noticed that.

Major Nelson shows off the new interface with themes applied.

That looks really nice with the GOW2 theme.

I could live without the new interface, but I hope when they're implementing it they at least fix the issues with the current interface. My biggest complaint is that they've lumped demos and XBLA games into a single screen, so you have to pick the right tab on that screen to get the list you're looking for, and the list doesn't load instantaneously. Not acceptable.

Are they going to sell the 60GB drive as stand alone accessory? I haven't seen a price report about it yet. Depending on the price I may get one since installed games look to take 5-6gb each.

Yes. The 60GB is supposed to be $99.99 and will be introduced later this fall after the launch of the 60GB 360. It comes with a wired headset, an ethernet cable, and 3 months of Live.

The 120GB is going to drop to $149.99.

Still way overpriced. But like you, I'm tempted because of the install option. Maybe if I can get one with a discount.
