All in all it was a decent conference.

The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that they didn't really show much that I didn't know about. I knew about all those games pretty much other than a few XBLA games and Scene It.

That Halo 3 Xbox360 is also lame as can be.

No price cut announcement surprised me, I have a feeling it will be announced by the end of E3 though.

Atleast they redeemed themslves by showing us SP footage of Halo 3.

Probably the worst E3 press conference I have ever watched. Nothing got me excited, not even the Halo 3 videos. Besides RE5, I didn't really hear anything important that I didn't already know about. MS has really let us down at E3 2007... hopefully Sony and Nintendo will do better tomorrow.

Well there was a Halo XBox, so why not a Halo 360.

If it comes with the new chip and is more reliable then we have a different story. If its the same, then I agree purbeast0 its lame.

I can't see being SO disappointed in it - the next year will bring an amazing selection of new titles to Xbox, and by far a more compelling set of choices than is available on anyone else's machine. Still, nothing really groundbreaking here.

That was so boring. I shouldn't have stayed up until 1 AM EST for this. There was hardly anything new, and the stuff that was new was hardly interesting enough to warrant sitting through the whole thing.

It's also hard to believe Microsoft has so much faith in the Halo series that they believe they don't need a price drop. They're definitely going to kill that series with all this milking.

I came into this thinking MS would present so much good stuff that Sony would be floundering during their conference, but now I think it may be the other way around.

I hope Nintendo, however, is able to give all kinds of new stuff that we actually care about. Please don't let us down.

Errr...what were you expecting...exactly? The hardware has been out for almost two years so there's no need to talk about that. The focus was on the games and they showed off a good line-up of games coming out this year....probably THE best lineup of any of the three consoles.

It was an alright press conference but like I said before, they definitely need a price cut.

Microsoft was focusing on the end of this year. You're not going to announce titles coming out in a few months now.

Personally I think they had a ton of stuff to get gamers excited. I was iffy about Assassins Creed and Lost Odyssey and COD4, and I want them all now.

Man, I was hoping for a killer demo to be up "Tonight on Xbox live" or something. Like what they did with Fight Night (Yeah wasnt e3 but still) and Lost Planet, etc. I was hoping so bad for an Assassins Creed demo

Yep. You can probably expect announcement for new games for next year at X07 in the Fall.

It was pretty much a snooze (and IGNs stream was horrendous), but Id still put it ahead of any Sony conference I've ever seen. Although the amount of awkward self-applause not matched by the crowd was about on par with last years Sony conference. If this years sony conference is anything like last years, itll be two hours long, the first 45 minutes dedicated to financial graphs and figures, which I suspect will be very PS2-centric this year. :p

Whether or not you like nintendo, you have to admit they do put on a pretty good show each year. I doubt there will be any shockers, but we'll prob see a fair bit more about games we know precious little about (mario galaxy, batallion wars, disaster, mario and sonic olympics, etc), so itll hopefully be a worthwhile watch.

But overall, MS has a solid lineup, but nothing really makes me wet myself to go buy a 360 when most of the good stuff is PC as well. (COD4 looks AWESOME though!)

Except maybe scene it. I dont have enough stupid controllers lying around. Or golden axe. Anyone pick that up yet? Its available right now! :p

Next time watch gamespot live stream which is more reliable than IGN stream.. E3 coverage has been way better on gamespot than any other major website i have seen. IGN/1up/Gamespy all suck.

Edit ..............

You can download microsoft's press-conference video now or stream it on gamespot. I just streamed teh 1st half an hour as i missed it and it works great.

When are they going to put this up on Live?

Tomorrow.

Just download or watch it form gamespot.. probably faster stream speed than live.

Hopefully they'll offer it on HD on Live.

By the way, G4 aired the press conference and will do a rerun in a few minutes.

Kromis :! mass effect is ready but the reason it got pushed back because their line up of triple A title were all about to come out arround same time which would hurt of their sales number.

August : Blue Dragon / Bioshock
September : Halo 3
October : GTA 4
November : Mass effect / Rock band
December : Burnout 5

Then in early 2008 you get Too human / Lost odyssey

So I can watch it on the big television instead of on my monitor.

Are you sure about Lost Odyssey? They said ever game they showed (with the exception of RE5) will be out this year.
