MS Certificate services

I'm setting up a sys ops manager server and going through instructions on setting up certificate authentication. Everytime I go to http://<server>/cersrv/ and choose to get a certificate, the page is different. If I reboot, or use another browser, its different again. Theres like 3 different variations of it. Anyone know why this happens?

Most of the time it looks like this:

Sometimes it looks like the page where if you go to "user certificate" (instead of advanced)

In the tutorial I'm reading, the page should look like this:

http://uosrv.uovalor.com/stuff/certificate2.jpg

Also in the pulldown menu I should be getting an option for a certificate template I created, but it won't show up.

Probably something I'm doing wrong, just not sure what.

You have to publish the template you created. In the CA console, go to templates, right click and choose new template to publish (something like that, this is from memory). Then select your template.

I do get a menu "certificate template to issue" but even in t hat list mine is not there. If I right click and go manage, its there though

Are you running Server Enterprise or Standard?

Standard. Would that be an issue? This is a test environment still so switching to enterprise is an option I would think.
