my boss wants me to try find out how to remove the "X" button on ms access as so the program cannot be shut down by clicking as the ppl who are going to get this database wont need to close it nor does he want them to be able to. Ive searched MS Technet but its about as helpful as a square kick in the nuts.

Does one of you fantastic people have any idea how to do this / is it even possible to remove the 'X' button?

thanks in advance for your help.

This is not General Hardware related. Try the OS or Software categories.

I don't know of a way to do it through windows. You can get some programs such as Fortess and lock them out of portions of windows. But if it can block the X I don't know. Will they need to close any other windows? If not you could install something like object desktop (or one of its componets) and create a basic theme that removes the X.

I will think on this and keep my eye open.
