MS Access: Query Question

im doing my access homework and the homework has this in there.. ive got a query that im working on -

it has 2 hidden fields - rate and hours, but i need to make another field for the rate * hours to give me total, the book has nothing for this..lol

any help is appreciated.

In Design View make a new field that is Rate*Hours and hit Run
