how would i take information from one field in a tabel and info from another field in the same table, and automatically combine this info into a third field in the same tabel? is it possible

Yes, it is possible. The third field would contain a formula to put the information together, sort of like how a spreadsheet would do it. Check in the Access help, I believe they cover it in there.
