MS-6712 MSI board processor issues

I bought a G52-M6712X1 MSI Motherboard and an 2100 AMD XP chip. When I boot up the PC IT says I am running an AMD 1500 XP. If I go into the bios and change any of the settings to the processor the PC will not boot. Anyone know what I might need to do to get this PC running at an AMD 2100 XP speed?

Thanks in advance 🙂

Find the link or option for changing from 100MHz FSB to 133MHz FSB. The 2100+ expects 133MHz FSB and uses a 13x multiplier, but on a 100MHz FSB it'd run at 1300MHz, about the core speed of a 1500+ (actually that's 1333MHz). Some BIOSes work out the processor description from the core speed because the chips are (almost) identical.
