LPT: Bounty makes the best paper towels, by a landslide. You could absorb a small lake with one of these scientific marvels.

Bounty changed a few years back and I quit using them because they left too many particles behind. Kirkland paper towels work okay for me, but you are right that they are not quite as absorbent. For my use, that's not usually a problem. Some store brands are terrible, though.

Bounty or bust. I ordered my first set of paper towels off of Amazon a while ago. It was a pretty damn big box lol.

Eh, whatever is cheapest and has the most sheets works best for me. I don't have kids and dont spill shit all the time. Tried Bounty and went through them just as fast since all I use them for is cleaning.

I let the servants worry about what brand of paper towel they like and just add that to the household budget. I don't have time to deal with such nonsense.

I buy that WalMart brand that is like 3 for a dollar. Paper towels are napkins, hand towels are for spills.

Bounty is better than ever now, imho.

Raley's store brand (NorCal) kicks Bounty's ass. The fact its cheaper is just icing on the cake.

Pondering a critical purchasing decision today (sale price, plus a coupon):

Bounty Select-A-Size or Full Sheet? The sale is on 6 count "double" rolls.

Select-A-Size: 126 sheets 11" x 5.9" = 340.7 sq ft @ $6..99 = $2.05 per 100 sq ft
Full Sheet: 80 sheets 11" x 10.2" = 374.0 sq ft @ $6.99 = $1.87 per 100 sq ft

Although I use very few paper towels. I think I last bought a package about three years ago. I've always been a Select-A-Size guy, but now I'm questioning that wisdom.

I think it depends on if you use the Select-A-Size as intended, or do what I always do and pull two half sheets off and fold them over for a single use.
